Gabmaster Photography ("we", "us") is a photography business operated by Gaby Abboud, based at 4906 Main St. Suite 101K, Lisle, IL 60532. This policy explains what information we collect through gabmaster.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep this deliberately short and specific — it describes what actually happens on this site, not a generic template.
Information you give us
When you submit our inquiry form we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, the type of shoot you're interested in, group size, timeframe, preferred location, and whatever you write in the message field. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange your session.
If you book a call through our scheduling page, or sign up through a promotional offer on this site, we collect the details you enter there for the same purposes.
If you inquire or opt into an offer, we may email you about your session and occasionally about our services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate and permanent. Emails strictly about a session you've booked are transactional and will continue regardless.
Who can see your information
Your inquiry is seen by Gaby and, where relevant to your booking, by assisting team members on your shoot. We store client and project records on our own systems. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
We may disclose information if legally required to do so, or where necessary to protect our legal rights.
How long we keep things
Inquiries that don't become bookings are kept for up to two years in case you return, then deleted. Client and project records are retained as long as needed for business, tax, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below.
Your photographs
Photographs from your session belong to you under the terms of your booking agreement, and are delivered through your own private client portal where all of your past and future shoots stay accessible in one place.
Every image we deliver is a genuine photograph captured during your session. We do not use AI to generate or synthesize images or people.
We sometimes like to show recent work in our portfolio, on this site, or on social media. If you'd prefer your images not be used that way, just tell us — before or after your session — and we'll honor it. Some sessions, particularly commercial work, are covered by a separate agreement governing image usage.
Copyright
All images and video on this website are the copyright of Gabmaster Photography and may not be used without written permission. For licensing inquiries or to report misuse, contact us at the address below.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email [email protected] and we'll take care of it — normally within a few days. There's no form to fill out and no cost.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 through it. When we photograph minors, we work directly with a parent or guardian who provides consent.
Analytics and website tracking
We deliberately do not use third-party advertising or analytics platforms on this site. There are no advertising pixels, no retargeting trackers, and no data brokers. Instead we run our own self-hosted suite of analytics and client-management tools on servers we own and operate in our own datacenter. Your information stays with us and is not shared with anyone else.
In practice this means two things. We keep aggregate statistics about which pages get visited, which tells us what people find useful without building a profile of you or following you across other websites. And if you submit a form, a cookie lets us associate that submission with the pages you viewed on this site — so we have useful context about what you were interested in before you got in touch. All of that data lives on our own infrastructure.
Our promotional popup also stores a small flag in your browser's session storage so it doesn't reappear after you close it. That flag is cleared when you close your browser and contains no personal information.
You can block or clear these cookies through your browser settings at any time, and the site works normally without them.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated to active clients directly.
